Saturday 1st November – The Alert!

A great live band playing an energetic mix of 60s Mod, New Wave and Britpop classics, The Alert comprises guitar, bass, drums and vocals. We had originally booked Modraphenia but upcoming surgery for a band member has ruled them out. However they recommended The Alert, who they describe as “just brilliant!” So same date, same type of music, just a different fantastic band. Please help us out by buying your tickets early so we can make sure the bar is well stocked!
A few highlights from the set list … Sunny Afternoon, London Calling, Eton Rifles, My Generation, Teenage Kicks, I’m a Believer!

Doors/Bar from 7pm, band from 8pm. Tickets £15 / £5 for under 18s but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday 20th September –

We are very sorry about the postponement of the Victor & Albert musical comedy night, due to the hospitalisation of one of the two performers. We wish him a swift recovery and hope to re-schedule the event in the future.

EVH Trustees are extremely appreciative of the time and effort expended by villagers in our most recent fundraisers – our wonderful Ceilicana team, and Rupert Bond and the Sonnet Orchestra. These events raised nearly £2,000!
