Friends of EVH
We already have a good number of villagers who have become EVH supporters and many people have already given generously of their time and money, but now we really need to increase that engagement. There will be lots of ways in which you can get involved – big or small, practical or financial, everything will help to see the project through.
- You could have fun doing a sponsored activity e.g. a walk or run with an unusual focus, a cycle ride, a sponsored silence! Or organise such an event involving a club or group of volunteers?
- You could join the EVH 100 Club Lottery – it only costs £5 per month
- Become a Friend of EVH – see below!
- Perhaps think about getting together with friends and organising or providing a fundraising event somewhere in the village? Maybe a quiz or games evening? A Treasure Hunt? A musical or sporting event or something food-based? EVH Trustees would provide direct assistance with this!
- Maybe your employer offers matchfunding?
- Or simply bring a crowd along to our Farewell Event

Could you assist with completing funding applications?
- Do you use Facebook and/or Instagram? We need help with this!
- Could you help with leafleting or putting up posters?
- Do you have financial, legal or fundraising experience?
- Would you lend a hand setting up an event or manning the bar?
Anyone can become a Friend of EVH – we’re looking for people who want to keep in touch with what’s going on and would be interested in helping in whatever way they can to make this project a success.
